Betaine Plus contains betaine HCL and pepsin in each capsule.

The hydrochloride form is obtained by synthesis; as such, it provides an additional amount of hydrochloric acid that can be useful when its production in the stomach is insufficient.
Pepsin provides additional support for endogenous pepsin synthesis.
